Clip-on trim guide
Slides over the foot end of the closed mold and holds the blade flush and square. Offset versions trim cigars ¼ or ½ inch longer from the same mold.
Any ring gauge, length and cavity count, 3D-printed to order. Seam relief, keyed pins and stackable bodies come standard, and matching trim guides and ring gauge checkers are available.
A plain block presses a cigar. These molds are designed for what usually goes wrong: halves that stick, ridges along the seam, a mold closed backward, a trim that wanders.
A fine chamfer on every cavity edge softens the ridge that forms where the halves meet.
Tapered pins guide the halves together without binding, and one pin sits off-center so the mold only closes one way, heads over heads.
Two notches on each side let you split the halves with a coin after a long press.
Numbers at the head end help you track each bunch through the quarter turn.
Cavity length matches the finished cigar, so cutting flush with the foot face gives identical lengths.
Softened corners and edges are comfortable to handle and less likely to chip.
Small stacking keys drop into recesses in the back of every mold and lock a stack in line as the press tightens. The keys only align. The flat faces carry the pressure, so every mold in the stack is pressed evenly.
Recesses are centered on every mold, so different ring gauges and lengths stack together, with the smaller mold sitting squarely on the larger one.
Every accessory is generated from the same specs as your mold, so it fits the mold it was made for.

A tapered slot reads every ring gauge from 24 to 64, and a 7-inch ruler with a stop measures length. It works on pressed and oval cigars too.
Before production, a calibration print dials in pin, key and cavity tolerances for the printer and filament, so the mold closes cleanly.
Typical dimensions for popular vitolas. Makers vary, so send the exact ring gauge and length you roll. Any ring gauge from 20 to 70 and any length from 3 to 9 inches can be made.
Every mold starts from one parametric design, so a custom size is as straightforward as a standard one. Add your logo and text to the back face and a set looks like yours.
Pricing depends on size, cavity count and branding. Send your sizes and you'll get a quote.
Ring gauge, length, head style, cavities per mold, quantity, and your logo if you want branding.
You see a preview of the mold and any engraving before anything is printed.
Tolerances are verified, then your molds are printed and checked for fit.
Your specs are saved, so later molds match your existing set.
Torcedor is the Spanish word for a cigar roller. Torcedor Tools makes molds and measuring tools for people who roll, printed to order and designed around the small frustrations of pressing bunches.
Every mold, trim guide and checker comes from the same parametric design, so changing a size carries through everything in the set. Have a question about a size or a logo? Write to hello@torcedortools.com.

Yes. Any ring gauge from 20 to 70, any length from 3 to 9 inches, and 1 to 12 cavities per mold, with round or torpedo heads.
A 50 ring, 6 inch mold with five cavities measures about 166 × 149 mm per half and about 32 mm tall when closed. Your quote lists the exact size for your order, so you can check it against your press.
Yes. The recesses on the back of every mold are centered, and one set of stacking keys fits all of them. Molds in a set share the same key spacing, and a smaller mold sits on a larger one.
Yes, on the back face of each mold, along with up to two lines of text. Send a vector file (SVG is ideal) or a clean, high-resolution image. Lines thinner than about 0.8 mm won't print cleanly, so very fine details may need to be thickened.
Wipe it clean and let it air-dry after pressing. Keep it away from heat, since printed plastic can soften.
